To pass HP, IBM... in this market, in September 2011, Cisco introduced CIAC v2, which truly brought cloud computing to every customer with complete, flexible solution at reasonable prices.

CIAC 2.0 components:

Friendly interface and easy to use for both customers and administrators. The portal provides a consistent and focused information portal, easy to customize base on HTML/JavaScript for all services of cloud computing system. Customers are able to make their own operation, from order to track delivery process and monitor services. Administrators can design services, user policies, service levels suitable to their business demands and manage the whole portal system.

Connected to Cisco Cloud Portal after a service is ordered and a acceptance will be divided into resource groups (compute, virtualization, network and storage). CPO provides configuration with the ability to automatically perform tasks to supply the resources pursuant to available scenarios. Using drag and drop interface with diverse operation samples makes it possible to create workflow suitable to a variety of demands, from supplying, infrastructure configuring to software or system installing.

An integrated part of CPO, able to integrate CPO and other infrastructure components or intermediate managing unit (eg vCenter controls ESX, UCS manager controls UCS, UIM and DFM for storage system). It allows connecting to core IT systems such as OSS/BSS, integrating with billing, monitoring, managing, configuring systems.

Automatically supply operation systems and software according to pre-designed templates. CSP engine also enables the implementation of remote action diagnostic capabilities combined with data replication bringing high efficiency in the deployment and troubleshooting
