July 5th 2012 marked a milestone for ITC JSC in particular and Vietnamese IT and Telecommunication in general when for the first time: a thorough Cloud computing system was built up for the top Service Provider in Vietnam, Viettel Group, with Viettel IDC taking charge of implementation.

The provided system is a total solution of leading Cloud Vendors in the world – VCE (VMware, Cisco, EMC). This is an overarching design from Cisco automation, to VMware virtualization, to Cisco UCS Blade Server and EMC Storage, providing “IT as a service” to tens of thousands of Viettel IDC’s customers.

With this cloud computing system, Viettel IDC is now able to make changes to the whole procedure of supplying services. Instead of a manual process, customers now just register in the portal and inquire for services (server, storage, platform, software…). After being approved, customers will then be automatically provided resources in only 2 hours, instead of 96 hours, which helps them take full advantage of investment and operation expenses for the system.

The successfully-deployed Cloud computing system has proved ITC JSC’s ability of system integration. ITC JSC has been a pioneer in bringing the biggest router system of Cisco: CRS-3, ASR9000 to Vietnam. This Cloud computing project once again affirms ITC JSC’s place as one of the leading IT companies applying state-of-the-art technologies non-stop in Vietnam.
