The arrival of Tet – Vietnamese Lunar New Year – always marks a special moment in the lives of the Vietnamese people. It’s a busy and bustling time as everyone prepares everything wholeheartedly to welcome the New Year. It’s also the time when people gather together to reminisce about the past year and set new goals for the coming one.
“Once a year we gather ‘round,
Choosing the finest day to sit beside each other.”
On the evening of January 7, 2023, the big family of ITC gathered warmly to look back on the Year of the Tiger and look forward to a joyful and successful Year of the Cat, during the 2022 Year-End Party held at FTE Ba Dinh Hotel.
Home-grown performances have long been a cherished tradition at ITC, and this year’s party once again surprised everyone with a spectacular opening Zumba performance. As a newly-formed class alongside other fitness activities like martial arts, cardio, yoga, gym, plank, and “Fountain of Youth,” the ITC Zumba team delivered a vibrant, creative routine set to the music of “Vẽ đường cong” (Drawing the Curve), “Đường cong” (The Curve), and “Một thuở yêu người” (Once in Love), which lit up the whole venue with cheers and applause.
Following that energetic start, the atmosphere became more reflective as meaningful memories of the past year were rekindled through the heartfelt song “Năm qua đã làm gì” (What Have I Done in the Past Year) performed by three beautiful vocalists from ITC.

The lyrics served as a reminder of dreams and goals that each ITC member hopes to fulfill in the new Year of the Cat 2023. And ITC firmly believes that every ITC-er will strive their best to turn those ambitions into reality!
In that emotional atmosphere, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Sơn – Chairman of the Board – shared a few heartfelt words with the ITC family. He recalled daily stories from the office, as well as the challenges that ITC members faced during the past year, especially as the lingering effects of the pandemic continued to impact the company’s operations. However, ITC in the Year of the Tiger stood tall like a brave warrior charging forward, breaking through the walls of hardship to achieve its goals and solidify its reputation and credibility in the eyes of partners and clients.
His sincere words were both a tribute to the challenging 2022 and a motivational message to all ITC-ers for a new year filled with success, aspirations, and achievements.
The year 2022 also marked a significant milestone – the 10-year anniversary of Ms. Ngô Thanh Liêm’s service in the Finance – Accounting Department at ITC JSC. It has been a decade of growth in her professional journey, and more importantly, a decade of loyal companionship and dedication to ITC’s development. In appreciation of her contributions, the company presented Ms. Liêm with a commemorative plaque – a small token of gratitude. ITC also hopes that she will continue to thrive and accompany the ITC family toward even greater dreams.
Right after, representatives of the Board of Directors – Chairman Mr. Nguyễn Quang Sơn, General Director Mr. Nguyễn Minh Đức, and Deputy General Director Mr. Trần Văn Thập – together popped the champagne bottles to kick off the celebration. The loud pop of the corks and the rousing applause were a powerful greeting from ITC members to the New Year of the Cat 2023. With unity and determination, ITC is set to march ahead, overcome all challenges, and reaffirm its standing in the market.
Although the 2022 Year-End Party has concluded, it left behind lasting memories, warm connections, and heartfelt emotions in every ITC member. Here’s to a new year filled with Prosperity – Fulfillment – and Triumph for the entire ITC JSC team!
