Nguyễn Thành Công (born in 1988) and Trần Nam Phong (born in 1993), two specialists from the Network Infrastructure and Information Security Department (NIIS) of ITC JSC, are young professionals who have turned their aspirations, dreams, and experiences at ITC JSC into globally recognized achievements. On September 21, 2017, they both successfully passed the prestigious CCIE exam in Australia.

For anyone pursuing a career in Telecommunications and Information Technology—especially network engineers—obtaining the CCIE certification is a dream. CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is the highest-level certification in the international certification system of Cisco Systems, a leading global technology company. To achieve this certification, both specialists put in relentless effort, combining theoretical study with hands-on experience from working with major telecom providers in Vietnam. They also spent extensive time working abroad in countries like Cambodia, Laos, and various regions in Africa. Their journey included passing the written exam in Vietnam and undergoing an intensive 8-hour lab exam in Australia to finally earn the CCIE title.
“CCIE used to feel like something incredibly far-fetched to me—honestly, I never thought I’d be able to take the exam, let alone pass it. Five years working at ITC JSC gave me invaluable experiences that I believe few system integration companies in Vietnam can offer. Here, I’ve had the chance to work across a wide range of technologies, from Enterprise and Data Center networks to Metro and IP Core networks of major service providers like Viettel, VNPT, and Mobifone. These projects have helped shape who I am today. Thanks to the support and encouragement from everyone in the company, especially the direct guidance of Mr. Phan Duy Linh, both Phong and I were able to pass the CCIE exam on September 21,” Công shared.
For individuals, obtaining a CCIE certification not only adds a highly coveted credential to their professional portfolio but also boosts confidence in consulting, designing, implementing, and providing technical support to major clients. For ITC JSC, welcoming two more CCIEs is more than just celebrating new prestigious certifications—it reinforces the company’s status as an ideal workplace where young engineers can realize their ambitions and achieve their CCIE goals. For three consecutive years, ITC JSC has had two engineers pass the CCIE exam on their first attempt each year. In 2015, Mr. Phan Duy Linh (Double CCIE RS/SP) and Mr. Nguyễn Minh Quân (CCIE SP) succeeded. In 2016, it was Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Duy (CCIE RS) and Mr. Nguyễn Văn Chung (CCIE RS). And now, in 2017, ITC JSC proudly welcomes Mr. Nguyễn Thành Công (CCIE RS) and Mr. Trần Nam Phong (CCIE RS) as the newest additions to this distinguished group.
