On the morning of December 18, 2020, at the Daewoo Hotel Conference Hall in Hanoi, ITC JSC had the honor of partnering with the renowned technology company Dell Technologies to host the seminar entitled “Dell Technologies Solutions Update”. The event was specially organized for VNPT IT (VNPT Information Technology Company) and the Network Technology Division under the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). The seminar welcomed leading IT experts from both Dell Technologies and ITC JSC.
Information technology has become a global development trend, and Vietnam is keeping pace by researching, developing, and integrating the most advanced technologies and systems. This is particularly significant in the context of the ongoing Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). One of the key challenges of this era is Big Data. Mastering Big Data provides organizations and businesses with greater opportunities for success in today’s competitive environment and allows for more accurate, efficient, and cost-effective data extraction. The question remains: how can we turn this vision into reality? That is the topic to be addressed at today’s seminar through practical IT solutions that businesses can directly implement.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Huệ – Deputy General Director of ITC JSC – expressed her gratitude for the presence of all distinguished guests and partners. The main session of the seminar began with a product introduction presented by Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huy – Dell Technologies expert – who provided an in-depth overview of the market-leading Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions, including VxRail and PowerFlex. With a focus on user experience and continuous performance improvements, these products were developed as tailored solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises and branch offices of large corporations. By choosing this HCI platform, customers gain access to a comprehensive solution encompassing servers, storage, networking, cloud, and centralized management—all within a single device. In other words, with just one piece of equipment, businesses gain all the tools they need at their fingertips.

After a brief tea break, participants had the opportunity to experience a live demonstration of Dell Technologies’ Hyper-Converged Infrastructure system on computer screens. This showcased the high applicability, seamless integration, and rapid deployment of the system, which delivered stable results in a very short time. The solution also demonstrated high stability, making it ideal for large enterprises operating in the Big Data sector.
In the latter part of the seminar, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Huy continued with an introduction to Dell’s most advanced storage solution – Dell EMC PowerScale. With cutting-edge software-defined storage technologies and server hardware, Dell EMC PowerScale sets a new standard for how organizations capture and utilize unstructured data. To help guests better visualize the product, the experts presented a demo of the PowerScale management interface, highlighting its superior features over other solutions on the market: compatibility with all applications, flexible deployment, and multi-cloud support.
