Setting aside all the worries of work, on April 10, the ITC team packed up and embarked on a memorable teambuilding trip with the theme “Strength in Unity” at Flamingo Dai Lai Resort – one of the top 10 most beautiful resorts in the world, known for its fresh air and vibrant spring scenery.
Our first trip of the year took place amidst the chilly weather and light spring drizzle, but the gloomy skies could not dampen the team’s passion and enthusiasm.

After more than an hour of travel, all ITC members were overwhelmed and excited by the lush greenery and refreshing air filled with birdsong at Flamingo Dai Lai. The program began with a warm-up session featuring light physical activities such as “Back Massage Train”, “Open – Close”, and “Word Chain”. After each game, the energy in the air became more and more vibrant, filled with laughter and joy.

Following the warm-up was the team formation activity. Four teams were created, with each choosing a team color, name, and chanting a bold and creative slogan.

Challenge – Unity
In the first challenge, four team members lined up, tying a stick to their waists with string and coordinating as a group of four to push a ball to the finish line using only waist movements. No hands or feet allowed. The key to success was synchronizing their movements to maneuver the stick effectively. Despite a neck-and-neck race, Team Flamingo emerged victorious.

Coordination Challenge – Water Relay
In this challenge, each player poured water from a bottle into the mouth of the teammate behind them, continuing until the end of the line. This round served as a relaxing interlude, requiring less physical strength but great precision to avoid “accidental splashes” on teammates. The activity helped break the ice, eliminate shyness, and encouraged everyone to open up and express their personalities

Brain Teaser Challenge – Disappearing Matchsticks
The strength of a team comes not just from physical power, but also from brainpower. In this challenge, teams were tasked with arranging 12 matchsticks into 5 isosceles triangles, then removing 2 to reduce the number to 4, then 3, then 2 triangles. While the rules seemed simple, the puzzle left many scratching their heads. Team Orange didn’t give up and successfully solved the challenge first, taking the lead.

Final Challenge – Slow Bicycle Race
The most intense round of the day, the slow bike race offered one last chance for teams to make a comeback. The race was extremely close, requiring the referee to call for multiple tiebreaker rounds.

Though the team challenge ended with some regrets, regardless of who won, every member left with a refreshed mind and beautiful memories.

Final Results: Team Nestling và Team Crane – Runner-up

Team Eagle – First Prize Winner

Team Flamingo – Special Prize for their victory
The teambuilding trip also provided an opportunity for ITC’s leadership to present awards to outstanding employees and active union members for their contributions in 2020—an event previously delayed due to the pandemic.

Every game must come to an end. Though the trip was short, it surely left lasting impressions of teamwork, laughter, handshakes, and sweat shared in unity. To close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to ITC’s management for sponsoring the trip, allowing the ITC family to enjoy quality time together and energize for the journey ahead.
