Immersing in the crystal-clear emerald waters, kayaking through the picture-perfect Lan Ha Bay, and going all out at the 2022 Year-End Gala — celebrating ITC’s 28th anniversary — were unforgettable highlights of the ITC family’s summer getaway to Cat Ba on June 3rd.
In an escape from the intense summer heat of the bustling capital, the ITC team embarked on a journey to the sea — drawn by the allure of blue waters, white sands, and golden sunshine. With great anticipation, we looked forward to experiencing a Cat Ba that continues to modernize and thrive, yet still preserves the untouched, natural beauty bestowed by Mother Nature.
After a three-hour journey to the port city of Hai Phong, followed by an unforgettable ride on the Cat Hai – Phu Long cable car — recognized by Guinness as having the tallest cable tower in the world — the ITC team arrived at the jewel of the Gulf of Tonkin, where we embraced the fresh sea breeze and let the serene coastal atmosphere soothe our spirits.
After enjoying a delicious seafood feast at Lang Chai Restaurant, the ITC family checked in and relaxed at the 5-star Flamingo Cat Ba Beach Resort — a true “paradise” perched above Lan Ha Bay, embracing the stunning Cat Co Beach. Surrounded by nature, ITC members spent the first day immersed in the fresh, green harmony of forest and sea, freely exploring the beauty of Cat Ba Island.

This was the perfect time for everyone to discover the unique charm of Cat Ba — from checking in with must-try local snacks like coconut avocado ice cream and Hai Phong-style sea snails, to soaking in the laid-back island vibe. As the sun set over Cat Co Beach, it became the golden hour for ITC’s young men and women to strike a pose, capture stunning photos, and preserve unforgettable memories from the trip.

Visiting Lan Ha Bay, ITC members were not only captivated by the bay’s stunning natural beauty, but also enjoyed refreshing, laughter-filled moments through exciting seaside activities like kayaking and swimming to their hearts’ content.

In the early afternoon, the boat took us back to the mainland as we prepared for the most anticipated event of the year: the 2022 Year-End Gala and the celebration of ITC JSC’s 28th anniversary.
Grand – energetic – unforgettable, the vibrant spirit and youthful energy of ITC came to life through the dynamic Zumba dance performances of “Oh Tinh Yeu” and “Happy Birthday” by ITC’s talented ladies. Their dazzling showcase set the tone for an evening filled with joy, passion, and lasting memories.

Following the powerful and captivating dance performance by ITC’s talented women, the audience took a moment to reflect on the company’s proud achievements in 2022. The short video prepared by the organizing team brought back memories of a year marked by challenges and transformation, while also highlighting the unique ITC culture — a legacy carried forward and preserved through every milestone.
In the emotional afterglow of the lookback video, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Nguyễn Quang Sơn, shared heartfelt reflections on ITC’s 28-year journey — revisiting the unforgettable milestones of 2022 and extending his sincere gratitude to all employees. His words honored the dedication, effort, and unity of those who have been and continue to be part of building a stronger, more successful ITC.

The year 2023 also marks a decade of dedication from Mr. Ngô Minh Quang of the Corporate Sales Department and Mr. Nguyễn Thành Công of the Technical Sales Department, both of whom have journeyed alongside ITC JSC for 10 meaningful years. In recognition of their contributions and unwavering commitment to the company’s growth, ITC presented them with commemorative awards — a token of gratitude and a wish that they will continue to stand strong with the ITC family, conquering new heights together in our 30th, 50th, and many more birthdays to come.

Shortly after, the entire hall burst into laughter and applause as ITC’s gentlemen took the stage in a lively, charming performance of “Thị Mầu”, transforming into the playful and graceful character with unexpected flair. The atmosphere then shifted as the audience was swept away by the gentle, melodic flow of the folk song “Gió Đánh Đò Đưa”, beautifully performed by the talented women of ITC. These homegrown performances — a signature of ITC’s cultural spirit — never fail to surprise, constantly evolving with creativity, energy, and a level of professionalism that rivals any stage act.
And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for — Chairman Nguyễn Quang Sơn, CEO Nguyễn Minh Đức, and VP of Business Development Trần Văn Thập came together to pop the champagne and cut the birthday cake, officially opening the celebration.

After moments of cozy gathering and warm togetherness, the Gala night continued to explode with excitement through the Awards Ceremony and the Lucky Spin. It began with the ITC-Creative Innovation Contest, celebrating the 28th anniversary of ITC JSC. Over the month-long contest (April 15, 2023 – May 15, 2023), the Organizing Committee received outstanding and impressive entries from all four teams, each exhibiting careful investment in both content and presentation. These works not only conveyed the members’ sentiments and devotion to the company but also served as valuable documentation of ITC’s journey of growth. General Director Nguyễn Minh Đức, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, announced the results and presented awards to the four competing teams.
In order for the company to grow and thrive as it does today, in addition to the talented and visionary leadership of the Board of Directors, we must also recognize the wholehearted dedication and efforts of all ITC members. The Gala night was also an occasion to honor outstanding individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond in their professional roles, as well as actively contributed to the company’s collective activities and labor union initiatives throughout the past year.

Amidst a “shower” of awards, the entire hall eagerly awaited the “Lucky Spin” segment to find out who would be this year’s “Koi fish” of the Gala. This year’s program featured a host of valuable prizes, including Apple AirPods 2, a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set, and a Xiaomi automatic umbrella. Let’s take a moment to celebrate and admire the lucky members who were drawn in this exciting Lucky Draw.

The 2022 Year-End Gala and the celebration of ITC JSC’s 28th anniversary concluded with beautiful and meaningful memories for all members. At the same time, the birthday getaway marking ITC’s 28th year at Flamingo Cát Bà Beach Resort also came to a close. The joyful, happy moments and unforgettable memories shared by the ITC family will serve as a source of motivation and belief, inspiring us to walk hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, striving together to steer the ITC ship through all turbulent waves and conquer new heights on the long journey ahead.
